English Beat @ Stern Grove - Sun, 7/17

One of my all time faves The English Beat is playing Stern Grove this Sunday. Show starts at 2, but I will be going earlier to get a good spot. You usually have to come early too to get in because they stop letting people in if it's too full.

I'm a bit concerned about the weather, but the show should be great! Let me know if you're coming.

Best Coast @ Academy of Sciences - Thurs 8/11

The California Academy of Sciences has a great adult evening event called "Nightlife" every Thursday night. On August 11th they're going to have 2 bands from Outside Lands playing. I just heard that one of them is going to be Best Coast, who I saw at Noise Pop earlier this year and they are fantastic. I'm sure that these tix will sell out, so let me know soon if you want to go!
